These challenges include vehicle races, wingsuit courses, mayhem challenges, and much more. In addition to the main story missions littered across Medici, you'll unlock various challenges by liberating new locations. This allows you to soar through the air, flying through caverns and valleys with impressive speed. Like other open-world games, you can drive around with cars or fly using helicopters and jets, but it's far more exciting to explore Medici using Rico's brand new wingsuit. Armed with his trusty grappling hook and arsenal of heavy weaponry, Rico must destroy every militant in his path while destroying propaganda, fuel tanks, statues, and more. This expansive, tropical map is made up of various provinces, each with numerous locations to liberate. Just Cause 3 is an open-world game that's all about mayhem, and Medici is an awesome place to let loose. The story is somewhat by the numbers, but provides a good setting for climactic battles and general mayhem. Intent on saving Medici from their political stranglehold, Rico teams up with his old friend Mario and spearheads a resistance against Ravello and his goons. Led by the dictator General Sebastian Di Ravello, an army of militants spend their days oppressing the people of Medici, forcing them to mine a rare material known as Bavarium.

Located somewhere in the Mediterranean Sea, the lush and colorful island of Medici has been overrun by a violent government regime. The story in Just Cause 3 picks up several years after the events of Just Cause 2, with our hero Rico Rodriguez returning to his home country of Medici.
